I Highly recommend Eharmony if you are looking for a serious relationship. Yes signing up and answering all the questions takes up a lot of your time, but it’s well worth it!

I met my husband through the site and we found it easy to communicate with each other. Most importantly, I have found my soul mate thanks to Eharmony and we have been together for 3 years.

I tried other online dating sites before and I found Eharmony to be the most professional, helpful and successful site out there. Sometimes they have deals, so check out for those.

I have used two dating sites eHarmony for 3 months and datingdirect for over 12. And they both have their pluses and minuses.

eHarmony does give you the feeling they really want to find out what sort of person you are so can find the right person and all the communication I have received from eHarmony has been excellent (courteous, efficient and informative). And ending your subscription is a lot easier than datingdirect. However, the amount of potential dates on there is not as high as some other sites perhaps.

I was told on the website because I set my potential matches to a different race than I am my matches would be lower (I am Asian). I didn’t get any dates over my 3 month subscription only a few emails asking me 5 quick questions (personally I found it a bit confusing and would have preferred to move to the emailing stage earlier).

But I would give it a ladies because, as I have been told, there are far more men than women on these sites so it might be worth a shot. I personally think if more people tried eHarmony instead of the more popular ones like match.com it would lead to more relationships. That’s why I would give it 3 stars, even though I didn’t meet anyone. I would definitely give it a try if you are one of those people to take the time to construct a good profile and to think through what you are going to write on there.

I joined this site many years ago and remembered it being it being a bit like paint drying, as I joined for 3 months, but matches soon dried up and I refuse to change my search radius, by making it bigger, because one has to be realistic with distance relationships.

Anyway, I have, since then had a relationship (not from eHarmony I hasten to add) so have not been on EH for a couple of years or so. Sadly, the ‘said’ relationship finished and I obviously found myself single again. So I thought I would try EH again and see if it changed ? This time I did it for ONE MONTH as I was not going to be caught out again. I have about 2 weeks left as I write this ?

I have had a good amount of matches and even got talking to a lovely lady almost straight away, but that fizzled out because she said she was HALF-HEARTED about being on there, so I thought why join ?!! . I am getting about between 8 to 12 matches a day. Quite a few I like!!! But nothing!! Only a couple or so. I know it is early days. Without the risk of sounding conceited, I am often told that I am a good looking bloke, which is so flattering, and I do write a good profile, if I say so myself. I am a realist as everyone has their own tastes in they are attracted to, as that is what makes the world goes around after all.

I think a lot of them are Non Paying members! Or some are just lazy! Got talking with another lady, but that was a waste of time too in the end.

What I DISLIKE about it is that cannot search or communicate with anyone unless you have been matched.

The customer service I found was GREAT!! Very speedy reply by emails and very friendly, so that is good!

I am pretty sure that I will DELETE my profile after my moth is up.

After searching on a couple of other dating websites both free and fee paying I decided I would give it ago as a last chance. I went on a couple of dates and spoke on line to a few potential candidates. After two months I start speaking to my now boyfriend of 6 months we emailed and spoke over the phone before meeting.

I’ve used a few different online dating sites and I found eharmony to be the best.. Probably because I got more responses on there than any other site and met someone too.

I do agree with other comments that the matches tend to be someone I wouldn’t normally match myself with however the what ifs seemed to be quite good and I’m now in a relationship with someone I found on eharmony 🙂
