Not my preferred site
I didn’t have the best experience.
I personally prefer Tinder…
After using all of the leading dating apps I can definitely say that Match is the best option if your are looking for serious relationship.
I found love!
I wanted to write a review because there are so many negative ones. I went on a few bad dates before meeting a wonderful guy. We’ve been going out a year now and it’s changed my life. You have to put effort into it and sort the wheat from the chaff but it really works. I haven’t given 5 Becuase they did actually renew my subscription – I didn’t read the small print so READ IT! But actually I don’t care that much. I would definitely recommend 🙂
Satisfactory so far
Having been on eharmony, Match.com is very refreshing. It’s more fun and the experience is much more positive. Their 6 a day matching system is rubbish and you get a few fake people trying to contact you from Spain but these a easy to spot. Within my first week of joining I had two conversations -looking promising which is more than I ever had during my several moths on eharmony.
Don't be serious
The investigated quota on Match is one male per seven females. So women are always in a shop window and high risk of being picked by ‘players’. Got plenty messages from day one but high quantity were sexual and ‘body pix’. Women, make it very clear in your profile if you DON’T want that behaviour, or it is just assumed you do. Had 5 super matches in 4 months but all were multi-dating (you can ask) so don’t fall in love too fast. Wait maybe 6 dates then check your feelings. Was victim to one player and one ‘ghoster’ but you can learn about the ‘red flags’ of these on many websites. Learn them! Generally ok for a few months fun but keep your emotional guard up and don’t automatically expect to meet a husband, regardless of the profile bait. Also, if you do start to commit to only one person for dates, still monitor who is doing the most chasing and if it changes.
You can’t relax your attitude on your site if you’re female.
